Cebba: UMJ is the first to implement IKU in the PTM-A environment
Daily Leadership Body of Muhammadiyah University Jakarta, Drs. Abdul Cebba, AK., M.BA., CA., CPA., when giving a speech at the IKU leadership signing ceremony at the Faculty of Education Auditorium, Thursday, (14/09/2023).

Member of the Daily Advisory Board (BPH) of the Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta (UMJ) Drs. Abdul Cebba, AK., M.BA., CA., CPA., said that UMJ was the first campus within the Muhammadiyah 'Aisyiyah Higher Education (PTMA) to implement the Main Performance Index (IKU). Cebba conveyed this at the IKU signing ceremony at the Faculty of Education Auditorium, Thursday (14/09/2023).

"The IKU at UMJ will be a model or reference for all PTMAs. This system will prioritize extraordinary governance and targets. "Of course, this is related to the performance of each Human Resource (HR) and especially, the performance of higher education to be achieved by each unit," explained Cebba when met at the end of the IKU signing event.

KPI is the basis for individual performance starting from the chancellor, vice chancellor, leaders in the rectorate and faculty. In implementing the IKU, achievements will be seen in one year and can be used as evaluation material.

According to Cebba, the success of IKU must be achieved by passing it on to all leaders at UMJ. "The hope is how to encourage the achievement of both the IKU outlined in PP Muhammadiyah, as well as the strategic plan, including the UMJ vision and mission," added Cebba.

Furthermore, Cebba explained that togetherness needed to be built in order to achieve IKU. Because, IKU is a modern system that has been built in other universities. "Therefore, UMJ is the first campus to run this system within the PTMA environment, so that we can move towards a world class university , including building a modern Islamic civilization," said Cebba.

Finally, he emphasized that everything that was built was for the good of UMJ, not for personal gain. He also hopes that this program will become a culture so that every leader is required to contribute to the progress of UMJ.
