Muhammadiyah University Jakarta (UMJ) students who are members of the Semi-Autonomous Institution Calling for Health Care Students (LSO SEMESTA) Faculty of Public Health (FKM) UMJ collaborate with the South Tangerang Young Friends (Semut Tangsel) community to hold a 3R Movement ( Reuse, Reduce, Recycle ) activity. with the theme "Increasing Children's Creativity Regarding Waste Through 3R Management Towards an Innovative Generation". This activity was held at the Gintung Market Reading Park, Tangsel, Sunday, (10/09/2023).

Through the Environmental Rescue and Health (PPL) Project Group work program, Semesta provides introductory material regarding types of waste and the use of waste. The excitement was also filled with children from Gintung Market Reading Park who performed dance creations. Apart from that, to support children's creativity related to 3R, hand tracing practice was also held on tote bags.

“We teach children from an early age to reduce the use of plastic waste. "Therefore, we, as the Environmental Rescue and Health Project Group, teach the children of Gintung Market Reading Park to use the tote bags they created to use when shopping at supermarkets or shopping at stalls near where they live," said the General Chairperson of LSO Semesta, Joko Priono.

The 3R Movement activities aim to increase the experience and knowledge of the Gintung Market Reading Park children which can be applied in everyday life. This is useful for reducing organic, non-organic and B3 waste. The enthusiasm of the Gintung Market Reading Park children in listening and practicing hand tracing on canvas tote bags, as well as the good impression from their parents, increased the enthusiasm of the Semesta committee.

"When one of us asked what the function of the hand-printed tote bags was, and they (the children) answered to go to the food stall or supermarket to get snacks so they wouldn't use plastic anymore, we were very happy. "This means that the aim of this activity has been conveyed to the children at Gintung Market Reading Park," added Joko.
