FIP UMJ Welcomes 2023 PMM Program Students from Unismuh Bangka Belitung

The leadership of the Faculty of Education, Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta (FIP UMJ) received a visit from FKIP Unismuh Bangka Belitung, Friday (22/09/2023). This visit was carried out in the context of the MBKM Independent Student Exchange (PMM 2023).

There are 8 PMM FKIP Unismuh Bangka Belitung students consisting of 4 different departments, namely PGSD Study Program, Sports Education, Mathematics Education and English Language Education. The student participated in this exchange program for one semester.

The Unismuh Bangka Belitung group was warmly welcomed by the Dean of FIP UMJ Prof. Dr. Iswan, M.Sc. "The hope is that PMM students can adapt to the campus environment and can attend PMM lectures well and optimally," said Iswan.

In this regard, Iswan explained that lectures at FIP ​​UMJ still use a hybrid learning model and hopes that students can adapt. "With these conditions, I hope students can adjust and prepare all their study needs while they are here," he added.

The same thing regarding lectures was also conveyed by Deputy Dean I Ismah, M.Si. He said that students need to pay attention to the courses that need to be converted so that the adjustments can run smoothly.

On that occasion, Deputy Dean III Dr. Azmi Al Bahij, M.Sc., was also present and welcomed the Unismuh Bangka Belitung group. "FIP UMJ has lots of student activities, so I hope PMM students can adapt and take part in various activities here according to their respective study programs," he concluded.

The discussion during the PMM handover activity was also delivered by the leadership representative from FKIP Unismuh Bangka Belitung who was represented by the Head of Quality Assurance for FKIP Unismuh Bangka Belitung.

"In essence, with this PMM we hope to increase the assessment of both study programs at FKIP Unismuh Bangka Belitung and FIP UMJ," he said. Furthermore, he hopes that Unismuh Bangka Belitung students can be accepted and attend lectures at UMJ well.

Also present was the Head of the Sports Education Study Program, Dr. Doby Parlindungan, M.Pd., along with Secretary of Study Program Muhammad Ishaq Gery, M.Pd., Chair of LPPM FIP Hastri Rosiyanti, M.PMat., Secretary of PGSD Study Program Dewi Setiyaningsih, M.Pd., and Head of Administration Suci Mulya Lestari, M .Pd.
