Dean of FT UMJ Receives Visit from FT UMP
Ir. Irfan Purnawan, ST, M.Chem.Eng., and Prof. Dr. Ir. Kiagus Ahmad Roni, ST, MT, IPM, ASEAN ENG., after signing the MoA in the Djoeanda Hall, Friday (29/09/2023).

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta (FT UMJ ) received a visit from the Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Palembang ( UMP ), Friday (29/09/2023). This activity was carried out in the context of Imitative Study and Independent Campus Learning Collaboration.  

Dean of FT UMJ Ir. Irfan Purnawan, ST, M.Chem.Eng., accompanied by Deputy Dean II Ir. Leola Dwiyani. ME, warmly welcomed the group to the Djoeanda Hall. Also present to welcome the FT UMP group was the Head of the Study Program, Secretary of the Study Program and KA Laborans within the FT UMJ environment.

"It is an honor for us to be visited by our relatives from Palembang. "I hope that this collaboration can bring benefits to both UMJ and UMP," said Irfan.

On that occasion, Irfan introduced FT UMJ from the academic community to its various activities. One of them is the AIK program which includes Tahsin Al-Qur'an and is a prerequisite for graduation for FT UMJ students.

Dean Ir. Irfan Purnawan, ST, M.Chem.Eng., and the FT UMJ academic community received a visit from the FT UMP group at the Djoeanda Hall, Friday (29/09/2023).

Dean of FT UMP Prof. Dr. Ir. Kiagus Ahmad Roni, ST, MT, IPM, ASEAN ENG., also introduced the leadership of FT UMP and their various activities. Kiagus said that the visit was intended for the purpose of friendship and cooperation.

"Our visit to UMJ is for learning and will be implemented at UMP. "We hope that this collaboration can support the MBKM program," he said. The UMJ FT delegation consisted of the Dean who was accompanied by the Deputy Dean II, Chair, Secretary and Head of the Study Program Laboratory.

The FT UMP group then had the opportunity to visit the study program and all the work spaces at FT UMJ. The visit ended with the signing of the MoA (memorandum of agreement).

The agreed collaboration includes several programs, namely training or workshops, research and technology development, dissemination of research results, student internships, further education (stratum 2) for leaders, employees, staff and alumni, as well as community service.
