The UMJ Faculty of Law (FH) presented RI Supreme Court (MA) Judge Martha Satria Putra, SH, MH and RI Constitutional Court (MK) Judge Dr. H. Wahiduddin Adams, SH, MH in the FH UMJ Hall on Wednesday (21/09/2023). They are FH UMJ alumni who attended the 4th day of the Faculty PKKMB series.

Martha Satria Putra, SH, MH is a Judicial Judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia who is also an alumnus of FH UMJ class of 2000. Martha provided motivation and told about her experiences while studying to new students of FH UMJ 2023.

“The campus world gives us space to process in achieving all our hopes. "I, who comes from the village, have the motivation to go to college and the campus provides an opportunity for us to change by being active in organizations." Martha explained.

In the next session, Dr. H. Wahiduddin Adams, SH, MH, who was also an alumni of FH UMJ in 2005. Wahid shared his experiences. "We must be grateful and proud because we have been given the opportunity to become UMJ students. "This campus will enable us to become the best human beings we can be, and of course to practice knowledge." Wahid said.

"When we decide on a law major, we must already have an idea of ​​where we want to go. Indonesia is a country of law, therefore the law is the main commander. The main sources of law that we study include Islamic law, western law, and customary law." Wahid continued.

In her speech, Chair of the Student Executive Board (BEM) FH UMJ Adelia Nur Fadilah said that being a student is not only enough to be smart but you have to be smart. "Being a student is not enough to be smart, but you have to be smart and keep moving forward, because a life that is not at stake cannot be won." Adel stressed.

A total of 195 new students were welcomed by the Dean of FH UMJ Dr. Dwi Putri Cahyawati, SH, M.H, Deputy Dean I FH UMJ Surohmat, SH, MH, Deputy Dean II Rusdi Daud, SH, MH, Head of Study Program Dr. Aby Maulana, SH, MH, Secretary of the Study Program Sawitri Yuli, SH, MH, Professor from FH UMJ who is also a resource person for Prof. Dr. Ibnu Sina Chandranegara, SH, MH
