UMJ Architecture Study Program Achieves Superior Accreditation

The Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta (FT UMJ) succeeded in achieving Superior accreditation, based on the Decree of the Director of the BAN-PT Executive Board Number 3918/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.KP/S/X/2023 which was announced on Tuesday, ( 10/03/2023).

Efforts to achieve superior accreditation are obtained through the Conversion Supplement Instrument (ISK) process which converts the A predicate into an excellent predicate. The results of the long process of implementing Catur Dharma were then outlined in the ISK which was then reviewed by BAN-PT and resulted in Superior accreditation for the UMJ Architecture study program.

"The superior accreditation achieved by the UMJ Architecture study program is a breath of fresh air that starts academic life for the 2023-2024 academic year and also proves that the quality of learning at private universities is not inferior to the quality of learning at state universities," this was conveyed by the Head of the UMJ Architecture Study Program, Finta Lissimia, ST, MT, when interviewed.

According to him, all members of the community as implementers of Catur Dharma are an important factor in efforts to achieve Superior accreditation. The commitment to maintaining the quality of the implementation of Catur Dharma must of course be understood by the entire community. This is the key to achieving superior accreditation.

"We hope that we can continue to be consistent in maintaining the quality of education so that the Superior accreditation is worthy of being held by the UMJ Architecture study program in the future," said Finta, expressing his hopes.

On the same occasion, the Dean of the UMJ Faculty of Engineering, Irfan Purnawan, ST, M.Chem.Eng., expressed his gratitude for the achievements achieved by the UMJ Architecture Study Program. “Of course we are very proud and grateful. The team's efforts and struggle paid off with satisfactory results. "We hope that the architecture study program can continue to maintain its superior title and can also be achieved by other study programs within the Faculty of Engineering UMJ, in accordance with the motto of FT UMJ, namely superior in science and technology and strong in IMTAQ," concluded Irfan.
