UMJ Receives CSR Assistance from Bank Mega Syariah


Bank Mega Provides Mosque Operational Fund Assistance to UMJ
Bank Mega Syariah provided Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance in the form of operational funds for the At-Taqwa Mosque, Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta (UMJ), Thursday (5/10/23).

Muhammadiyah University Jakarta received CSR assistance from Bank Mega Syariah (BMS). As a form of implementing the mission of Bank Mega Syariah (BMS) , namely spreading the goodness of Islam and mutual benefits as a form of commitment to developing the sharia economy. BMS provided Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance in the form of operational funds worth ten million rupiah to the At-Taqwa Mosque, Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta (UMJ), Thursday (5/10/23).

Head of Bank Mega Syariah Sub-Branch, Tresna Puspitasari, said that this was not the first time providing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funding assistance . As a collaboration partner, Bank Mega will try to prioritize the distribution of financial assistance to UMJ. Sari also hopes that the financial assistance will be useful for the operations of the At-taqwa UMJ Mosque.

"Because we collaborate and partner with UMJ, if there are donations that need to be distributed we will look for partners who collaborate first so that the target is more precise," said Sari.

As the institution that builds the At-Taqwa Mosque, secretary of LPP-AIK UMJ Mulkan Habibie, S.Kom.I., MIKom., expressed his thanks to BMS for its contribution to UMJ. According to him, this is not the first time UMJ has received assistance. BMS also routinely helps with Ramadan activities and donations.

"This financial assistance will be fully used for the operational needs of the At-Taqwa UMJ Mosque," concluded Mulkan.
